How long is the course?

15 sessions, ~25 minutes per session. You could complete it in 3 weeks if you do about 1 session per day, but it's self-paced so you can take as much time with it as you'd like. Start and finish when you're ready, but this is content you'll want to come back to again and again (enrollment gives you lifetime access to these resources!). Importantly, you'll also have free access to our monthly live group support/training meetings with additional live instruction, Q&A sessions, and the support of our course community!

Who is this for?

Humans. :) It's a great introduction to many basic mindfulness practices, so it's good for beginners. If you've ever thought "meditation just isn't for me," actually, this course is for you. It also has a number of more advanced practices informed by mindfulness-based therapies and positive psychology practices, so even experienced practitioners will be able to deepen their practice.

How is this different from other mindfulness courses?

There are some great mindfulness courses out there, and you'll get my recommendations for others you should consider as you continue your development. That said, I think you'll find this course to be surprisingly engaging as well as enlightening. Each session in the course consists of 3 videos: a short intro video set to a poem or quote (and my landscape videography) to help you settle in and prepare for the lesson (~1-2 minutes), an engaging instructional video on the mindfulness topic for that day (~6-8 minutes), and then a guided practice with video footage from some of my favorite nature scenes (~15 minutes).

Also, unlike almost every other online mindfulness course, you'll have free access to monthly live group support meetings to help you get supplemental instruction, connect with our community of practitioners, have live Q&A sessions with me, and break through any obstacles you may run into in your personal mindfulness practice. I'm not a "guru," but I'm here as an experienced teacher to provide you with personalized support and help you succeed in these practices.

Finally, in addition to the content being anchored in the best evidence-based research and practices, in this course I'll be taking you with me on adventures to some of the most beautiful places on the planet (~95% of the nature scenes, timelapses, and aerial videography in the course are from my own photography adventures!). I think it's safe to say that this is mindfulness training like you've never seen it before.
